1. Who we are
This website (abramsgrp.com) is operated by Abrams Grp LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (Company No. OC437246), with its registered office at Enterprise House, David Lane, Basford, Nottingham NG6 0JU, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). References to “AbramsGrp” are to our trading name for online training and compliance services.
You can contact us at info@abramshealthcare.co.uk or +44 115 777 0127.
2. These terms
By accessing this website or purchasing from us you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Delivery Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
3. Using this website
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and purchase courses. If you are younger, a parent, guardian or employer must purchase on your behalf.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
4. Courses, packages and your licence
Unless stated otherwise on the product page:
- When you buy a course or package, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the course materials for 12 months from the date of purchase, for your own learning and professional development.
- One licence covers one learner. Sharing logins or course content within a team requires separate licences — contact us for team pricing.
- Business customers may assign licences to named employees; see section 9.
- Certificates evidence personal completion and may not be transferred between learners.
5. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is taken at checkout through our third-party payment processors (currently PayPal and card payments processed via PayPal). Your payment details are handled by the processor under its own security terms; we never store full card numbers.
- We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
- If a price is obviously displayed in error, we are not bound by it and will contact you before processing.
6. Cancellation and refunds
UK consumers have a statutory 14-day cancellation right for distance purchases. Because our products are digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once you start accessing the course after asking for immediate access — as explained in our Refund Policy.
In addition, our own 14-day satisfaction guarantee gives you a full refund on any course completed less than 25%, within 14 days of purchase. DBS/NPPV services become non-refundable once submitted to the issuing body. Full details: Refund Policy.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Digital delivery
Courses are delivered digitally via your account immediately after payment; DBS and background-check services are processed with third-party bodies on the timescales set out in our Delivery Policy.
8. Certificates
Certificates are issued on successful completion of a course. Each certificate carries a unique Credential ID verifiable at Verify Certificate. Certificates confirm completion of our training only and, unless expressly stated on the certificate, are not regulated qualifications.
9. Business purchases and team training
For bulk licences, invoicing, tailored programmes and compliance support, contact info@abramshealthcare.co.uk. Business purchases are also governed by these terms except that (a) the consumer cancellation right in section 6 does not apply, and (b) our liability cap in section 13 is increased to the total fees paid under the relevant order.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose;
- copy, resell, redistribute or publish course materials, videos, quizzes or certificates;
- share, transfer or resell your account access;
- interfere with the site’s security features, scrape it, or attempt unauthorised access;
- upload malicious code;
- submit false identity information, including for DBS/NPPV applications (this may constitute a criminal offence);
- misuse our Verify Certificate tool to make false representations about another person’s achievements.
We may report suspected fraud or identity misuse to the relevant authorities.
11. Intellectual property
All course content, branding and site design are owned by Abrams Grp LLP or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive only the licence described in section 4. All trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
12. Third-party links and services
The site links to and relies on third-party services (payment processors, video hosts, vetting bodies). We do not control them and are not liable for their content or acts. Their own terms apply to your use of them.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are liable only for direct losses that are a foreseeable result of breaching these terms, and our total liability to consumers is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, employment outcomes or data loss) arising from use of the site or its content.
Course content is provided for training purposes. It does not constitute legal, clinical or regulatory advice for your specific circumstances, and completing a course does not by itself guarantee compliance with any regulator’s requirements.
14. Availability
We aim to keep the site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the site for maintenance. Product descriptions may be corrected if inaccurate.
15. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including third-party body delays (for example, Disclosure and Barring Service processing times).
16. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
